While you wait

Have this ready when they call: roughly how big the pool is, whether it has a heater, spa or salt system, the brand of the pump if you can see it, and what's going on. A photo of the equipment pad helps.

If the pump is humming but not spinning, or the breaker keeps tripping, turn the pump off at the breaker and leave it off until someone looks at it. Our pump guide explains why.
